Tech Check for New Users

This checklist will help hosts and participants get ready for their first InSpace session.

InSpace is browser-based, which means you don’t need to download or install an application. The following checklist will help you get ready for your first session.

  • For the best experience, please use the Google Chrome browser (you can download Chrome here). If you’re using an iPad or iPhone, please download the ‘InSpace Proximity’ app from the App Store. 
  • Web browsers compatible with InSpace include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Brave. 
  • Android users, please use the Google Chrome app from your device to join or download the Android app from the Google Play store.  
  • Regardless of the browser you use, please check to ensure it is up to date. How to update Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Brave.
  • Please close any unnecessary tabs in your browser.
  • Please close any unnecessary applications on your computer, especially video and gaming.
